Growing a better cocoa ecosystem. One that puts farmers first.

The cocoa circle story

Chocolate is loved worldwide. But the farmers who grow the cocoa barely see a fair share of the profits. Big companies make billions, while many farmers struggle to support their families or farm sustainably.

That didn’t sit right with us. So, we set out to change it.

Here's how we're flipping the script.

No middlemen, no secrets

Just high quality cocoa, from farm to kitchen.

A circular economy

We reinvest profits into farming communities to strengthen livelihoods, improve practices, and build sustainability.

More than cocoa

We believe cocoa should do more than make your bakes delicious. It should strengthen communities, restore ecosystems, and empower the people behind every bean. That’s why every bag you buy helps fund local projects, improve farming practices, and grow resilience where it’s needed most.

Diversity makes better cocoa and a better company

We believe cocoa connects people across cultures, continents, and communities, and so should we. We publicly commit to the principles of Justice, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (JEDI).

At The Cocoa Circle, we value diversity in our team, in our partners, and in the farming communities we work with, including Indigenous and local communities.

Guided by our Code of Ethics, we do our absolute best to foster respectful and inclusive relationships throughout our business and create a workplace where people can show up as themselves and contribute meaningfully.

"We're not here to make noise. We're here to fix the imbalance. Cocoa farmers create the value — they should share in it. That's the circle."

Doña EstelitaLa Campesina del Cacao

"We don't grow cocoa for sympathy. We grow it with knowledge passed down from our mothers and grandmothers. What we ask for is simple: that our work is valued the way it deserves."

Viridiana de la CruzHacienda RC

"This land carries my father's name. Continuing his work is not just business — it's responsibility. If cocoa has value in the world, that value should also protect the families who grow it."
