Tiramisu
This is an original recipe for a classic Italian dessert with layers of ladyfingers soaked in very strong coffee and creamy, smooth mascarpone topped with cocoa powder. Chill for a perfect blend of flavors.
Instructions
-
MAKE THE FILLING
Beat mascarpone and icing sugar for 2 minutes until smooth and creamy. Set aside. In another bowl, pour whipped cream, sugar, and vanilla sugar. Mix until stiff, about 1 to 2 minutes. Fold the whipped cream into the mascarpone mixture with a spatula until smooth. -
Assemble the tiramisu
Spoon the cream into a piping bag. Dip the ladyfingers into the latte. Start with the dipped ladyfingers first. Finish with a layer of cream and sprinkle the tiramisu with cocoa powder. -
Chilling
Cover with plastic wrap and chill for at least 2 hours before serving.
