THE COCOA CIRCLE STORY
Chocolate is adored by millions of people all over the world, every day. From birthday cakes to daily cups of hot cocoa to that chocolate bar from the impulse aisle, cocoa is one of the most loved—and most consumed—ingredients around us. But the chocolate industry is complex, and behind every bite there’s a story that often goes untold.
The truth? The farmers who grow cocoa, the very heart of the chocolate industry, barely see a fair share of the profits. While big companies make billions, many cocoa farmers struggle to make ends meet. That not only makes it harder for them to support their families, but harder to operate sustainably, too. That didn’t sit right with us.
So, we set out to change it.
The Cocoa Circle was born to create a fairer, more sustainable cocoa industry—one where farmers are valued, not overlooked.
We believe in a circular economy where the value of cocoa doesn’t just flow out of farms and into corporate factories, but back to the farmers themselves. Where they’re supported in their efforts to preserve the rainforest so that cocoa can grow for generations to come.
Here’s how we’re flipping the script:
No middlemen, no secrets—just pure, high-quality cocoa from farms to your kitchen. We put the power of transforming cacao into chocolate, or other cocoa creations, into your hands, the hands of our customers, so you can create, bake, and indulge while packing a positive impact.
Better support, better future—we work closely with cocoa farmers, getting to know their needs and struggles so we can direct profits made through your cocoa purchases back to their communities. Better support means stronger communities, better farming practices, and a more sustainable future for cocoa.
