BUILDING SUSTAINABILITY
AT FINCA CACAYO
Finca Cacayo needed a cacao bean dryer so we helped them build it!
It’s a crucial piece of equipment for the cocoa process. It ensures beans dry evenly and quickly, protecting them from mould or spoilage — so the farmers can improve productivity and guarantee quality cocoa.
Lily’s Favorite Cocoa Recipe
Directly from Tabasco, Mexico, Palanqueta is a classic peanut and caramel dessert. We picked up the recipe from the incredible cocoa farmer Lily on our visit to her cocoa plantation, Finca Cacayo.
