What is the difference between cocoa power and cacao powder?

Cocoa powder is made from beans that are roasted and processed at higher temperatures resulting in a slightly sweeter taste that’s typically preferred for baking. On the other hand, cacao powder does not undergo the roasting process and retains more nutrients, along with a more distinctive bitter taste.

Both products have their own distinctive benefits and applications, which is why we seek to offer the broadest range of cocoa/cacao products possible.

What is your return policy?

Due to the perishable nature of our products, such as cocoa powder and chocolate, we generally do not accept returns of these items unless they are defective, damaged, unsealed, or spoiled upon receipt. Our goal is to ensure that you receive products in optimal condition.

Food products that have been opened or used are not eligible for return unless they were received in a damaged, unsealed, or spoiled condition.

What should I do if my order arrives defective, damaged, unsealed, or spoiled?

At The Cocoa Circle, we strive to deliver the highest quality cocoa products to our customers. However, we understand that issues may occasionally arise during shipping or handling.

In the rare event that you receive a product that is defective, damaged, melted, unsealed, or spoiled, you are entitled to a replacement or a refund. To qualify, please contact our customer service team within 14 days of delivery at care@cocoacircle.com for a replacement or refund.

Please include your order number, a description of the issue, and any relevant photographs of the defective, damaged, or spoiled product.

After contacting customer service, you will receive detailed instructions on how to return the product, including the return shipping address. The return must be shipped back to us within 14 days of receiving the return instructions.
